HOPE Children's Foundation Africa (HCFA)

A newly formed charitable organization found in the Kawempe Division of Kampala, Uganda, HCFA is dedicated to helping the orphans and needy children in the community. The Project also provides help for those affected by HIV/AIDS by offering health care, community support and opportunities for income generation. HCFA aims to enhance community connectedness and improve the overall health and well being of the most vulnerable members of society. Read more.....

Uganda is often hailed as the most successful African country in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The proportion of adults living with the virus fell from around 15% in the early 1990s to about 5% in 2001 and this was widely attributed to intensive efforts to encourage safer sexual behaviour.
